Solid siger i NM G16

Etter ein solid prestasjon vann Hødd til slutt 9-1 og er dermed vidare til 2. runde i NM regional. Kampen vart spelt på Color Line Stadion.

Hødd sine mål vart skora av Andreas Fjørtoft x3, Tobias Pettersen Hatløy x3, Daniel Notanes Brandal x2 og Marcus Dimmen.

Trenar for laget, Tom Malins sa dette etter kampen

- A very pleasing performance from the Hødd G16 the other evening against Træff. We went into the game knowing very little about the opposition, so we focused on ourselves and what we are good at. Our aim for the game was to control the game throughout and to do so by attempting to win the ball in the oppositions half as much as possible. The boys responded well and scored 5 well worked goals through patience, combination play and creative thinking.

- What was also pleasing was that we also made many changes second half, yet the players kept the dominance for the majority of the half. This was our first competitive game together and the boys bonded well together instantly.

- But even from a convincing performance such as this, we still need to focus specifically on what worked well (so we continue to do these things) and what needed to be better. As a team we have already discussed how to be better prepared against counter attacks, giving us an area for development.

- We look forward to the next round of the cup and hopefully go on as long as a cup run as is possible! We will enjoy it while we can!
