G16: Semifinale mot Fredrikstad

I kveld spelar Hødd G16 semifinale i Adidas Cup mot Fredrikstad med kampstart kl. 19.00! Om laget tek seg til finalen vil Hødd møte enten Nordhordaland BK eller Stoppen SK. Både bronsefinalen og finalen går søndag kl. 12.30.

Tom: - Our young group should be proud of their achievements

Here comes the weekend many of the boys having been looking forward to, the semi final of Adidas Cup! We take the trip to Gjøvik and will play the semi final match against Fredrikstad Saturday 19:00.

It is an interesting time for the boys, after two disappointing and difficult games with losses to Ørsta and Aksla, we are looking to bounce back and pick ourselves up. On a youth level, the boys are at a similar position as the first team whereby we have not been at the level we expect ourselves to be. But I also feel that this club has an environment where both the Seniors and G16 can find it within themselves to find their way back! It is a good test for them.

Fredrikstad will be a strong team, but have confidence in ourselves to produce a positive display. The boys have rightly deserved their position in the semi final and we aim to go one step further to the final. But whatever happens, our young group should be proud of their achievements so far reaching a semi final tournament against mostly 2002 players.

Unfortunately we are missing Sindre Kleiven to injury and Noah Mork who gained a concussion at the game against Aksla. Otherwise everyone is fit for the match. We wish those two boy a speedy recovery.
